I agree to the fact that Telangana region did not get the attention of the leaders so far. Now through this agitation , they raised their voice. This is an alert to the political leaders not to neglect Telangana or any other region in Andhra Pradesh. A chance should be given to the Govt to rectify the mistakes it committed .
Why the supporters of Telangana are not able to understand the fact 'United we stand,divide we fall'. The prevailing situation demands a 'win-win' situation. Many good solutions are available to solve the problem rather than just having state division. To everyone's surprise, many of the good solutions were proposed by people of Telangana region only. In my recent journeys to other parts of Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana people shared out their views that they are not in favour of division. They shared out the adversaries of the divisions. If state division is inevitable,the Banes were more than that of boons. Inspite of providing solutions to govt or finding what common ppl really need, the media is helping the agitations to intensify.
The media did not do its part. Let me try my hand. I compiled the possible & feasible 'Win-Win' solution,after hearing many solutions. Here it is.
- Govt should find out the needs of underdeveloped regions of T,A,R. It should come up with improve plans, have them reviewed regularly.
- Declare bailout package for all underdeveloped regions , giving priority to regions of Telangana.
- Declare a strict timeline of 5 or 7 yrs. ( If govt does really make a good progress, winning in next elections shall be a cake walk. )
- Involve everyone for the regularisation and inspection to prevent the misuse of the funds.
- Any politician trying to Misuse of funds or delaying in the projects for personal gain, shall be held.
- Instructions should be passed to Telangana, Andhra , Rayalaseema regions to develop their capitals ( even though state may not be divided ). This act shall decentralize the importance of Hyderabad. It also increases the number of investment potential cities.
- Govt should finish off/take up projects to resolve Water problems to all regions.
- If govt can not fulfill the promise to develop Telangana / other underdeveloped regions, divide state. There shall not be much agitation at that point of time, as timeline provided gives enough time for the settlers to move back to their native places.
